What is the Schilizzi Scholarship?

Helena Schilizzi, the wife of Elefthérios Venizélos, one of the most significant dignitaries in modern Greek history, played a major role in the development of Modern Greek & Byzantine Studies at King's College London.

The Schilizzi Foundation was established in recognition of her invaluable contribution and three scholarships are awarded annually to students of Greek Nationality looking to pursue an undergraduate degree at King's College London. 

The £3,500 annual Bursary is available for up to three years; subject to satisfactory academic progress.

The Gordon Hedley Scholarship

in conjunction with the Schilizzi Foundation.

What is the Gordon Hedley Scholarship?

This award is a £3,500 annual bursary  available for up to 3 years. This Award was established in recognition of the contribution of Gordon Hedley to the Schilizzi Foundation.  One three year scholarship is awarded  annually to a student of Greek nationality looking to pursue an undergraduate degree.
